Makeup Lessons

We have 3 different types of lessons geared at individuals and one lesson designed to certify makeup artists.  We have an airbrush lesson, a traditional makeup lesson, a Skype makeup lesson, and a Makeup Artist Certification Lesson (for Artists ONLY).  You can choose which lesson you would like to do based on your knowledge of applying makeup.

The BRUSH-UP lesson is for clients that have already had a makeup lesson with Makeup by Sheila.  The Brush-Up lesson is $150.00 an hour.  You decide how many hours you will need with Sheila.  You are required to bring all of your Makeup by Sheila products and brushes with you to the lesson.  If you do not have your products, you can purchase them at the time of your lesson. Sheila will watch you apply your makeup, correct small details or bad habits, update colors and skincare regimen.

ALL LESSONS EXCEPT THE MAKEUP ARTIST CERTIFICATION LESSON INCLUDE MAKEUP

Each one of them includes ALL of your products for a day look and a night look.  All of the products are full-size.

Each lesson is video recorded so that you can watch the video again at home, it’s a wonderful way to get a recap of your lesson.  You leave with a notebook packed with information tips, a highlight chart, a contour chart and a notebook of personalized instructions.

The airbrush lesson is 4 hours long, a traditional lesson is 3 hours long and Skype lessons are 4 hours long.

During your studio lesson, Sheila will teach you the application on one side of your face and you will do the application on the other side of your face to match her application side.

These are private lessons; it will be just you and Sheila in the studio.

Makeup brushes are NOT included; however, we encourage you to wash and clean your makeup brushes with Dawn soap and bring what you have to your lesson.

Sheila will review what you have and decide if you need any additional brushes.

We do have makeup brush sets in the studio starting at $150.00.

ALL LESSONS LISTED ARE OFFERED TO ANY CLIENT ONLY ON A ONE TIME BASIS!

ANY ADDITIONAL LESSONS ARE “BRUSH UP” LESSONS AND ARE CHARGED AT THE RATE OF $150 PER HOUR PLUS THE COSTS OF ANY NEEDED MAKEUP PRODUCTS.

OUR POLICY

Our policy is to respond to our clients with 24 business hours. Please keep in mind that our offices are closed Saturdays and Sundays.

Makeup lessons are done during the week only – Tuesdays through Fridays. All appointments are only held with FULL PAYMENT, a gift certificate will also be invalid after cancellation and all the value will act as your deposit. Gift Certificates EXPIRE after 12 months from the purchase date; they are non-transferable to anyone or any service. ANY and all payments or certificates made are nonrefundable and non-transferable upon ANY cancellation.

Appointments will NOT be made without the non-refundable FULL payment of services.

Weddings within 60 miles are required to pay the $950 (Bride and One Friend Hair & Makeup Package). Bride & One Friend Package required for any “on location” and MUST have 3 additional plus makeup or hair. If the bride would like makeup only, they must still purchase the Bride & One Friend Package of $950.00 plus 3 with makeup or hair.

***MAKEUP LESSONS ARE PRIVATE! DO NOT BRING ANYONE WITH YOU; they will not be allowed to watch or stay***

Your email response authorizes Image Consulting dba Makeup By Sheila to charge your credit card for the agreed-upon purchases. Customer understands that their information will be saved to file for future transactions on their account.

NOTE: Please make firm arrangements to be at all scheduled appointments. All appointments will be canceled if the client is 30 minutes or later at the FULL appointment cost to the client and credit cards charged.

HOLIDAY WEEKS have an extra fee of $500.00, All fees and pricing are subject to change without notice.

There is an “Extra Hair Fee” for any an all hair extensions.

Please allow at least an extra 30 minutes of time for your appointment time when extensions are involved.

***Please keep in mind that our offices are CLOSED Saturdays for weddings and the office is not open on Sundays. No appointments are made on Mondays.***

IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING AIRBRUSH GUNS:

We do not replace or give credit for broken airbrush guns. We are not responsible if the gun is not cleaned properly, dropped, cleaned without our airbrush cleaner, or abused while in travel and/or storage. We have a 30-day warranty on the compressor ONLY. We do not replace compressors if they are abused during travel and/or storage or if the motor has burned up due to the unit not being placed on a firm surface during usage.
